June 13, 1943 German officers inspect a collapsed bomb shelter in Bremen, Germany after an aerial mine struck the bunker during a U.S. air raid. The explosion and collapse killed 66 local residents who had sought shelter, injured 33 others, and left 15 missing.

Beer Hall Putsch Martyr Theodor von Pfordten Pfordten was born May 14, 1873 in Bayreuth. He was a senior judge at the Bavarian Supreme Court. He was the son of Freiherr von der Pfordten, Royal Councilor & Sr Public Prosecutor at the Supreme Regional Court, & Elise, née Schäffer.
